Day 01:
AIRPORT/MEDAN - PARAPAT/SAMOSIR ISLAND (LD)
On arrival at Polonia airport Medan, proceed by city
tour of Medan City, visiting the
Maimun palace built by the Sultan of Deli in 1888, Grand Mosque Al Mashum built
in 1906 in Moroccan style and the colorful Buddhist temple Vihara Gunung Timur and Some others interesting places in Medan
City. Lunch will be provided at the restaurant in Medan. Drive to Parapat/Toba
Lake via Pematang Siantar, than cruise on Toba Lake to Samosir Island, for your accommodation.
Dinner at the hotel
Day 02: LAKE TOBA - CRUISE
(BLD)
Breakfast at the hotel. Cruising on Lake Toba ,a day
cruise by private boat, visiting Batak Toba villages; Ambarita
where the remnant megalithic culture of Batak Toba lies in front of traditional
houses. Continue to Simanindo to see the folkdance performed by the villagers. Here you also
can visit a museum built in typical Batak style. On returning to your hotel, stop at Tomok village to
see a very old but nicely decorated sarcophagus. Back to the hotel for
accommodation. Lunch &
dinner provided.
Day
03: SAMOSIR ISLAND/PARAPAT - BERASTAGI - MEDAN (BLD)
Breakfast at the hotel. Cruising on Lake Toba by boat
back to Parapat. At the appropriate time, transfer to Medan via Simarjarunjung
offering magnificent views back across the Lake, Pematang Purba to
see the wooden palace (Ruma Bolon) of
the former Simalungun ruler, Tongging/Sipiso-Piso waterfall 120 m straight down to a small gushing stream
below, Karo Batak Village to see a glimpse of the way of life of the Tribe and
their typical houses Brastagi/Fruit Market where they selling wonderfully fresh
fruits, flowers, vegetables & others , then directly to Medan City. Lunch
will be provided in Brastagi. Upon arrival in Medan, transfer to the hotel for
accommodation and dinner.
Day 04: Medan - AIRPORT (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time,
transfer to the airport to catch the flight of onward destination.
